Basic Things You Need to Know about Terrazzo Floor Cleaning in Boca Raton
Terrazzo Floor Cleaning Boca Raton has been around for over two thousand years. The term refers to an Old Italian origin meaning terrace. Nowadays, terrazzo is a type of mosaic floor that is created by putting marble chips in a mortar and then polishing it. Basically, terrazzo is composed of marble and Portland cement, with a ratio of two is to (2:1) respectively.
Things that You Need to Know
Terrazzo Floor Cleaning in Boca Raton should be a "breeze" because its surface is non-absorbent. Stains will not affect a terrazzo floor so much. However, the cement binder is absorbent so it could be easily affected by stains. If you think there will be stains, go for resinous terrazzo. It does not absorb stains as readily as cement terrazzo.

Regular Cleaning Routine:
Clean your floor as often as possible so that the sand and grime will be removed from the surface. Dirt can be rough and cause scratches to the terrazzo. Use neutral cleaners, neither acidic nor alkaline, for your floor.
Use a mop to spread the solution and leave for a few minutes. After that, mop the floor and rinse with lots of water. Keeping the floor wet will ensure that the dirt will not stick to the terrazzo again.
Potent Neutral Cleaner:
For stubborn dirt or soil, use a stronger solution of the neutral cleaner which was just discussed. Remember to avoid using oily mops to clean your floor. Dusting and sweeping every day will result in better-looking floors and less intensive cleaning in case of stains.
The Essence of Terrazzo Flooring:
Terrazzo floors are a timeless choice, known for their durability, versatility, and aesthetic appeal. They consist of a combination of marble, granite, quartz, or other suitable chips, which are bound together with a cementitious or epoxy matrix.
